The interface KEM®-Query software was conceived in the context of participatory design with/for Ariana® Pharma, a company specializing in the analysis of clinical and genomic data. This analysis and exploration tool enables biology researchers to process a large volume of data resulting from laboratory experiments. The design issue, therefore, focused around a problem of big data. How to help the user to understand such a mass of data through the prism of the computer screen? What forms of visualization can be imagined to identify similarities or, on the other hand, dissimilarities? What is the best sequence of actions to suggest that would allow quick, organized work? Intactile DESIGN's participation focused on the structuring of different spaces, interaction flexibility and the creation of original data views.
